After retiring from educating adolescents for 33 years, Grace is dedicated to connecting local seniors to helping hands. An immigrant from Canada and resident of Three Rivers since 1992, she manages Client Intakes, Friendly Visits and Oral Histories.
A retired social anthropologist, Lindy chose Three Rivers in 2016 while caregiving for her aging parents. Seeing AIC-3rs’ much-needed support to elders not available to her parents in Visalia, she brings Fortune 50 research, small business consulting, directorship of a national patient advocacy organization experience, and artistic creativity to our board. Lindy is an avid quilter, steam-punk creator, and world traveler.
Ginni arrived in Three Rivers with her husband Pete in 2006 and has been enthusiastically serving local elders ever since. Active in multiple local organizations such as the Altar Society, Woman’s Club and the Travel Club, her leadership and organizational skills are key assets as she focuses on Volunteer Development.
Susan returned to Three Rivers in 1987 after 15 years with USDA Forest Service. Currently a real estate broker, she worked on the MAC, helped create Kaweah Land Trust and served as treasurer for a $2.3 million local water system project. Her background and long range planning skills are vital.
Elizabeth is a local CMT specializing in elder care massage. Before moving to Three Rivers with her husband in 2013, she cared for her mother with dementia. Now she facilitates meetings of the 3R Alzheimer’s Family Caregiver Support Group. She is also a passionate writer, movie buff and oral historian.
Marilee was a retired business woman, CASA volunteer and dedicated grandmother of six who lived in Three Rivers with her husband Fred for 28 years. An enthusiastic cook, hostess, and artist, she was a key social event planner and frequent Friendly Visitor with seniors. She is missed by community seniors, friends, and fellow board members. A life well lived!
